Job summary
CHRISTUS Health in Beaumont, TX seeks a qualified Registered Nurse to provide routine and complex patient care, using the nursing process and ensuring patient safety.
Candidates should have BSN preferred, RN license, BLS; ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications; 1 year related experience; orientation within 30 days.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- Current TNCC certification required
- BLS required
- RN License in state of employment or compact.
- All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Provides nursing care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Addresses psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with practice level.
- Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitors side-effects and effectiveness.
- Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
- Educates patients, families, and caregivers; identifies issues and resources.
