Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas or compact required
• BSN preferred
• ACLS required; BLS required

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care following the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administers medications and treatments using approved protocols; monitors for side effects and effectiveness.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on care needs and resources; delegates tasks as appropriate.
