For a full-time, tenure-track position, candidates must have a Doctorate in Emergency Management or related field (including public health, public administration or law) by Fall 2027 and be able to teach in one or more of the following areas: Emergency Management Policy, Procedure, and Theory, Environmental/ Occupational Health and Safety, Cybersecurity, Exercise Design and Development, Emergency Planning, Emergency Management Communications, GIS and/or Emergency Management related Information Technology courses, and related subject areas.
Candidates with a master’s degree and relevant field experience are encouraged to apply and may be considered for a Full-Time Temporary Faculty position for the 2027-2028 Academic Year (September 2027 - June 2028). This is a one-year, benefited, non-tenure-track position with potential for renewal.
$70,000- $75,000; Academy offers generous benefits and a competitive salary commensurate with education, qualifications and experience.
