Qualifications

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Professional telephone skills.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule to include early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, and weekends.
• Understanding of the pricing, trading, and discount systems at Bookmans.
• Motivated to learn how to buy/process/sell video games and electronics.
• General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans.
• Knowledge of store sections and layout.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and direction from the Electronics Department Supervisor/Lead and Store Management.
• Ability to use reference materials
• Must be able to conduct oneself in a civil, professional, and respectful manner at work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance.
• To apply knowledge of video games, video game systems, consumer electronics, and software to buying, processing, and selling; incorporating positive customer-focused strategies.
• Staff prices, sorts, stocks, and merchandises all areas of the department, and works at the Incoming Merchandise/Trade counter buying and pricing merchandise.
