Bookmans Exchange in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Electronics Department Staff member for a full-time role to support daily store operations.

As part of the Electronics Department, you will assist customers with knowledge of video games, consoles, and electronics, process trades and pricing under supervision, and help merchandise all electronics sections. The position requires flexible availability, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading and promoting a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance. To apply knowledge of video games, video game systems, consumer electronics, and software to buying, processing, and selling; continuously incorporating positive customer focused strategies. Staff prices, sorts, stocks, and merchandises all areas of the department, as well as works at the Incoming Merchandise/Trade counter buying and pricing merchandise.

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills. Customer Service requires patience, kindness, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with diverse communities and customer needs.
• Professional telephone skills
• Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule to include early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, and weekends.
• Understanding of the pricing, trading, and discount systems at Bookmans.
• Motivated to learn how to buy/process/sell video games and electronics.
• General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans.
• Knowledge of store sections and layout.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and direction from the Electronics Department Supervisor/Lead and Store Management.
• Ability to use reference materials
• Must be able to conduct oneself in a civil, professional, and respectful mann er at work.

This position is full-time and scheduled at 30 or more hours a week.
