Job summary

Performance Driven Workforce is hiring Full-time Electrical Wiring Technicians in Allen Park, MI to assemble, test, and troubleshoot wiring harnesses for automotive applications. This role requires reading wiring prints, using hand tools, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced lab environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in wire harness assembly, can provide own rolling toolbox, and is willing to work the AM day shift with occasional overtime. PDW offers benefits after 60 days.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in wire harness assembly.
• Proficiency in reading wiring prints and cut sheets.
• Experience with hand-tool assembly and quality validation.
• Own tools with rolling, lockable toolbox required.

Responsibilities

• Follow provided work instructions (prints, cut sheets, sample harnesses)
• Assembly of wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper assembly techniques
• Work in small teams to complete daily build requirements
• Maintain clean and organized workspace
• Inventory tracking of project parts and supplies
• Quality validation of wire harness assemblies

The Full-time Electrical Wiring Technicians support our prototype wiring lab and are responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems for a variety of applications. This Full-time Electrical Wiring Technicians position is based out of Allen Park, MI., and offers an AM day shift. Candidates must provide own tools with rolling, lockable metal toolbox. • AM Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday + overtime as needed)

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in wire harness assembly
• Proficiency in Wire Prep, Crimping, Soldering, De-pinning
• Ability to read and interpret wiring prints and cut sheets
• Must provide own tools with rolling, lockable metal toolbox
• Experienced in use of multimeter
• Accurate measurement skills
• Effective communication and computer skills
• Detail oriented with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
• Flexibility to cross train for expanded opportunities
• Reliable Transportation

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

• Automotive high voltage experience
• Overtime when available
