Job summary

Cerebrocare is seeking an EEG Technician to perform routine and ambulatory EEG procedures in an outpatient clinic in Englewood, Colorado. You will prepare patients, apply electrodes using the 10-20 system, and monitor data quality under supervision of a Clinical Manager / Supervising Neurologist.

The role emphasizes patient comfort, accurate documentation in the EHR, and adherence to HIPAA and infection control policies. Flexible hours may be required in this outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Completion of an accredited EEG Technician training program or equivalent clinical experience.
• Minimum 1 year EEG experience preferred; training support for new grads.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and ambulatory EEG studies according to established protocols.
• Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring patient comfort.
• Apply electrodes accurately using the International 10-20 system.
• Monitor EEG recordings for technical quality and patient safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues during testing.
• Document procedures, observations, and findings in the EHR.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
