Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan's Flint region is seeking an Emergency Department EMT/Paramedic to provide basic nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse. The role requires BCLS certification, EMT/Paramedic licensure, a high school diploma, and at least six months of ED or EMT experience.

You'll work full-time on a day-evening schedule from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with biweekly totals around 72 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Licensure as EMT or Paramedic required.
• Minimum six months in Emergency Department or EMT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care within the Emergency Department under RN direction.
• Assist with arrhythmia screening and IV/catheter competency as part of ERT training.
• Maintain assigned shift 11:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m.
