Job summary

Save the Children is seeking a Program Aide to support educational, relational and social experiences for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers within the Head Start program. You will report to the Education & Inclusion Manager or Center Director and may travel to program sites or for home visits.

As a frontline representative, you will help ensure child safety, adhere to safeguarding obligations, and support various classrooms, kitchens, and buses as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Certification in basic first aid and pediatric CPR within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Apply clear practice and procedures in day-to-day execution of job.
• Organize self and manage time to get things done.
• Keep manager informed of important issues.
• Build effective relationships within the workgroup and with children/families.
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
