Job summary

Food Lion in West Point, VA is seeking a Store Receiving Associate to ensure proper direct-store-delivery receiving, follow Food Lion policies, and maximize sales through service while minimizing shrink. You will work with vendors, assist the Assistant Store Manager on promotions, maintain plan-o-grams, verify invoices, and handle reclaim and damages, all while upholding safety guidelines.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Protect company assets through the proper receipt of DSD products.
• Demonstrate and execute vendor receiving policies.
• Work with vendors to resolve errors or policy violations.
• Coordinate with the Assistant Store Manager to ensure timely promotions.
• Verify DSD plan-o-grams are accurate.
• Account for daily and weekly DSD tickets, invoices and file properly.
• Follow Food Lion safety guidelines and procedures.
