Job summary

The Salvation Army in Flint, MI is seeking a Donation Pickup & Delivery Driver to join our Adult Rehabilitation Center team. You will operate a Salvation Army truck, pick up and deliver donations, and represent the organization with donors.

This full-time position provides a $15.00 per hour pay rate, 40 hours weekly, and a benefits package. You will follow DOT and OSHA regulations, perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and support operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least two years licensed driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT screen, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow scheduled routing procedures efficiently.
• Drive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure security and safe handling of all goods and materials.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain equipment in excellent working order.
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Act as a personal representative of The Salvation Army.
• Report any pickup problems to dispatcher.
