Job summary

The Salvation Army in Cicero, IL is seeking a Production Assistant/Driver for the Adult Rehabilitation Center. You will transport materials to and from destinations, drive a Salvation Army truck, and represent our organization with donors while maintaining efficient operations.

This full-time role requires a High School degree, a valid driver's license with Passenger Endorsement, and DOT/background checks. You will perform pre/post-trip Vehicle inspections, ensure safety, use DSS on an iPad, and

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• At least two years licensed driving experience.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT screen, drug test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow scheduled routing procedures efficiently.
• Drive Salvation Army truck for pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure security and safe handling of all goods and materials.
• Perform daily pre and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain equipment in excellent working order.
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations.
