Job summary

Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas, TX, is seeking a full-time Dishwasher to support the kitchen team. Shifts available AM or PM; duties include washing ware, polishing items, keeping areas clean, and assisting in banquet setup.

DishwasherFull-Time (AM or PM shifts available)Compensation: $16 PER HOURWe are looking to add full-time Dishwashers to our Kitchen staff. The Dishwasher is required to clean pans, pots, dishes, and other elements used in the kitchen and restaurant. They will also operate the dishwashing machine or wash dishes by hand, to help maintain a clean kitchen. These workers scrape, sort, and stack dirty dishes, load them into the dishwashing machine and then add soap to turn it on. Once the cleaning operation is complete, they unload the dishes and put them in their places to be reused again.Job Responsibilities:Wash all wares in dishwashing machine or by handPolish all silverware, platters and chafing dishesCollect trash from kitchen areas, empties garbage barrels, wash and re-line with new bagsWash and polish all stainless steel in kitchen, including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators, walk-ins, etc.Wash or clean receiving area and trash areaSweep and mop kitchen floors as well as the dock areaStore all dishes and other wares in proper areasClean dish machine after each meal period, periodically clean with lime awayPerform other tasks such as assisting in food preparation, putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers and storeroomsAssist in banquet setup, plate up and break down of banquet equipmentPerforms additional duties as directed by a supervisor or managerPhysical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend down, kneel, crouch up to 8 hours daily.Reach with hands and arms, use hands and fingers to handle objects.Must have good or corrected vision.Must have good hearing to communicate with co-workers.Must be able to push, carry or lift up to 50lbs.Special Requirements:Must be able to speak English and communicate with co-worker and managementMust be able to work a flexible schedule and/or over time if needed.Must be available to work weekends and holidays.Must work well with team members and help co-workers as needed.Must possess honesty and integrity.Must be courteous and tactful to all persons.Must be innovative and look for areas that need improvement.Perform other duties as required.NICOTINE FREE WORKPLACEBackground check and drug test Required.
