Job summary

Hunter Super Techs - TurnPoint is seeking a full-time Dishwasher in Chicago, IL. You will wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment to sanitary standards, keep the dish room organized, and support kitchen operations.

Overtime and overnight differentials are available, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, holidays, and meal benefits.

Responsibilities

• Load, run and unload dish machine.
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any malfunctions.
• Monitor water temperature for sanitary wash cycles.
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster as scheduled.
• Maintain dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Assist in cleaning food prep areas as required.
• Fill in as needed to support restaurant operations.

Job Title:DishwasherPay Rate: $21.80 per hourReports To:Kitchen ManagerDepartment:Food & Beverage OperationsStatus:Non-ExemptDate:September 2023Broad Functions: Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Load, run and unload dish machine.Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.Keep dish room clean and organized.Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.Clean food preparation and production areas as required.Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company.Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.EEOC Statement:We are an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse team and fostering an inclusive environment where employees feel empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
