Abound Health is hiring Full Time Direct Support Professionals to provide caregiving and daily living support for individuals with IDD in Lancaster, PA. DSPs assist with ADLs, community participation, and behavioral support while helping clients live independently. If you are compassionate and reliable, we would love to meet you.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to pass criminal record, driving record and healthcare registry checks.
• Willingness to assist with personal care needs when necessary; Ability to lift as required based on client needs.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is not required; paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships and support individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, hygiene and household tasks.
• Support individuals in community participation, employment and social activities.
• Use adaptive tools to aid learning and facilitate communication.
• Encourage independence and help individuals develop new skills.
• Monitor health and safety while maintaining a supportive environment.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
