Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with IDD in Williamsport and surrounding areas. You will help individuals live more independently, participate in their communities, and build meaningful life skills. No prior experience is required as we provide paid training and ongoing support.

Starting pay ranges from $17 to $25 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus. Abound Health offers weekly pay, paid onboarding, scholarships, and opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to support personal-care needs when needed.
• No prior experience required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Build independence and confidence through hands-on support.
• Assist with daily living activities (meals, hygiene, household tasks).
• Support individuals in community activities, employment, and social engagement.
• Encourage independence and learning new skills.
• Support communication and use of adaptive tools.
• Promote health, safety, and emotional well-being.
• Communicate with families, team members, and support professionals.
• Complete documentation and maintain schedules.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
