One Vision in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for a full-time back-end schedule. Three 12-hour shifts per week equal 36 hours, with four days off and Saturdays included.

Training is provided, no prior healthcare experience required, and the role focuses on supporting individuals with disabilities to live independently. You'll assist with daily tasks, community activities, transportation, medications, and documentation, while building trusting relationships with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed.
• Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation.
• Must complete required background checks and health screenings.
• Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily activities.
• Help build independence and participate in community outings and events.
• Provide transportation using approved vehicles.
• Assist with medications according to training and procedures.
• Support grocery shopping and personal finances.
• Complete electronic documentation and build meaningful relationships.
