Job summary

One Vision is hiring Full-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Mason City, IA for a consistent front-end schedule: three 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, with Sundays plus two additional days between Monday and Wednesday.

This position offers a stable schedule, paid training if you have no prior healthcare experience, and the chance to help individuals build independence through daily activities, community outings, and meaningful routines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist with mobility as needed.
• Ability to use basic technology for electronic documentation.
• Must complete required background checks and health screenings.
• Must complete required training and certifications, provided by One Vision.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build independence and participate in the community.
• Assist with daily activities such as cooking, personal care, laundry, and household tasks.
• Provide transportation using approved vehicles and accompany individuals to appointments and events.
• Complete electronic documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with the people you support.
