Job summary

Parker Personal Care Homes, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for full-time roles. No experience needed; we provide training to help you support our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community settings.

You will assist with ADLs, document services, and follow person-centered plans. Jump-start your career with a signing bonus and competitive pay; weekends/evenings may be required, and driving across the metro is part of the role.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite or other similar software is required.
• Must be able to document all services provided in PPCH systems, as trained.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with effective listening skills.
• Must be able to respectfully address issues of health and safety while supporting an individual’s choices and maintaining their dignity.
• Able to work and adhere to your schedule independently with little or no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful, educational, and supportive services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Support an environment where members are healthy, safe and valued.
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal care and hygiene or moving to and from a wheelchair.
• Comply with PPCH policies and state/federal regulations.
• Maintain respectful and professional relationships with members, guardians, families, and staff.
• Attend team and interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
