Job summary
UC Santa Cruz Dining Services is seeking a Storekeeper who will handle receiving, storage, invoicing, and distribution of goods across multiple dining halls. The role requires attention to inventory control, safety standards, and staff supervision, with a flexible schedule including day, evenings, and weekends.
The position is full-time with 100% effort, involving coordination with campus Dining Services and CHES.
Qualifications
- Experience in a dining/food environment with receiving and stocking responsibilities.
- Ability to review invoices and manage inventory counts.
- Knowledge of HACCP Food Safety and Sanitation practices.
- Math skills for pricing, invoicing, and inventory records.
- Experience supervising student staff and coordinating tasks.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and storage of merchandise, inspecting quality and weights.
- Oversee receiving, distribution, and invoice accuracy; note discrepancies.
- Manage loading area access and daily temperature logs for storage areas.
- Supervise student staff in stocking, issuing, and cleaning tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
