Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Server with flexible hours to provide high-quality dining services to residents. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving meals, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment that respects dietary needs and resident preferences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED), highly preferred.
• Exposure to restaurant operations or the ability to learn.
• Must be 18 years or older or have a proper work permit and authorization documentation.
• Must complete required Background clearances, health screening, and provide negative TB test results within 7 days of employment (must be within the last 6 months).
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak, write, understand, and read English.
• Must meet and maintain all state-specific regulatory requirements, such as Food Handler Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional dining service by taking accurate food orders and serving meals to residents, family members, and guests in a professional, courteous manner.
• Uphold table etiquette by serving from the left, clearing dishes between courses, and resetting tables for subsequent service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Engage with residents in a friendly and courteous manner, attending to their dining needs and menu selections.
• Review and adhere to residents' dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences as outlined by the Supervisor and care plan.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary dining area and comply with all food safety handling and service protocols.
• Assist in breaking down deliveries, putting away stock, and washing dishes as needed.
• Promote teamwork and alignment with MBK principles and core values.
