The Village at Orchard Ridge in Winchester, VA is hiring a Full Time Dining Cook to prepare flavorful, nutritious meals for residents in a professional kitchen. You will follow recipes, ensure proper presentation and temperatures, and support production plans and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, sanitation practices, and kitchen safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, dietary guidelines, and quality standards.
• Ensure meals are presented attractively and served at the proper temperatures.
• Assist with food preparation, production planning, and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
• Follow food safety and infection control guidelines at all times.
