Job summary

The Village at Orchard Ridge in Winchester, VA is seeking a part-time Dining Server who greets residents and guests with warmth, takes meal orders, serves foods and beverages promptly, and helps maintain a clean, organized dining area. You’ll contribute to a welcoming environment where residents feel valued and at home.

Day and Evening shifts are available; the position offers a pay range of $14.50 to $17.25 per hour, final offer based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service or customer service experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a welcoming dining environment.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Assist residents with menu selections and accommodate special dietary needs or requests.
• Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and organized before and after meals.
• Clear tables, remove used dishes, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and dietary restrictions.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality.
