Alliance Health at Baldwinville is seeking a dedicated Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and clean-up for residents in Baldwinville, MA. The role supports a clean, safe kitchen and courteous service to residents, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities include assembling trays, serving meals, stocking supplies, and following dietary orders and safety procedures. The position requires dependable attendance, with weekend and holiday shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, healthcare, or long-term care preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to understand and follow resident diet orders and food safety procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Dependable and able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas, meal trays, beverages, and food items for meal service.
• Serve meals to residents according to menus, diet orders, portion sizes, and dietary restrictions.
• Accurately assemble resident trays and ensure proper identification before service.
• Assist with meal delivery and collection of trays.
• Prepare simple food items, snacks, beverages, and supplements as directed.
• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, dining areas, equipment, and food preparation surfaces.
• Properly store food and supplies in accordance with food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Follow infection control, food handling, and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Maintain appropriate food temperatures and report concerns to the Dietary Manager or Cook.
• Stock supplies and notify management when items are running low.
• Provide friendly and respectful service while supporting residents' preferences, dignity, and independence.
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned
