Job summary

The Habitat Company, LLC seeks a dedicated Janitor A to keep our Chicago property in top condition, ensuring curb appeal and resident comfort. You will assist the team, follow community manager directives, and participate in safety procedures across daily tasks.

Responsibilities include building walkthroughs, lighting upkeep, safety compliance, and timely completion of work orders and inspections for leasing readiness.

Qualifications

• Full time janitorial/maintenance experience.
• Basic electric, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC skills.
• Ability to communicate with internal/external contacts.
• Willingness to participate in standby emergency schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily property walk-downs and replace bulbs in hallways and lights as needed.
• Safely operate power equipment and maintain curb appeal.
• Complete assigned work orders and inspections for leasing turnover.
• Maintain accurate daily timekeeping in Paycom system.
