Job summary

Ecumen Detroit Lakes is hiring a Resident Assistant for a full-time, day-shift role with every other weekend rotation. The Dining Assistant will support food service, meal delivery per diet orders, and maintain food prep areas in accordance with facility policies.

The pay range is $19.09–$21.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, 6% 401(k) match, PTO and more. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Follow safety rules, policies and procedures including HIPAA and Right to know.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary service to residents, families and guests with a welcoming, courteous approach.
• Serves meals per diet order, ensuring proper temperatures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary work area and properly labels, dates and rotates inventory.
• Performs opening and closing duties and routine cleaning tasks.
• Notifies supervisor of health changes in residents and responds to requests or complaints.
• Collaborates with staff to support a demanding and changing environment.
• Assists with special functions as directed and respects facility property.
