Job summary

Ecumen Detroit Lakes is hiring a Part-Time Dining Assistant with a reliable 8–9 a.m. shift, offering limited hours and an every-other-weekend rotation. You’ll help with food prep, serving and cleanup, keep areas clean and follow facility policies while delivering friendly service.

The organization highlights a pay range of $19.09–$21.00 per hour and a benefits package, with flexible days to fit your schedule and a team focused on serving older adults with compassion.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary service to residents, families and guests, ensuring all feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service.
• Serves meals to residents per diet order and portion size, at proper temperatures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and organized work area, labels and rotates inventory, and operates equipment safely.
• Completes opening and closing duties and routine cleaning tasks.
• Notifies supervisor of changes in residents' health.
• Responds to resident requests and concerns, and informs supervisor as needed.
• Partners with others in a demanding environment and supports the leadership team.
