Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Retail Associate to ensure our Customers have a positive shopping experience. The role requires greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment in line with company standards.

Responsibilities include safety, accurate cash handling, and timely response to Customer inquiries, while representing the Ross brand with integrity and professionalism on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates and Store Leadership in a friendly, respectful, cooperative and pleasant manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work Full-Time hours

Responsibilities

• Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do.
• Maintains a safe, clutter-free sales floor with clear egress to emergency exits.
• Greets all Customers by making eye contact, smiles, and says hello throughout the store.
• Assists Customers as needed—register-trained and knowledgeable about merchandise.
• Responds promptly to Customer service calls and involves Store Leadership when needed.
• Represents Ross Inc. with integrity and safeguards confidential information.
• Follows MOS policies and cash handling procedures; maintains accuracy of bankable tenders.
• Performs cleaning tasks and merchandising to maintain store standards and presentation.
