Silverado Escondido is hiring a Culinary Aide to assist in food preparation, kitchen sanitation, and dining services for memory care residents. You will deliver meal carts, stock refrigerators, and maintain clean dining areas in a supportive, team-focused environment.

The role requires a valid Food Handlers Certificate, English communication skills, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. This is a full-time PM shift opportunity with competitive benefits.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assist with food preparation and kitchen sanitation
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of food service areas

• Set and clean dining areas to ensure a pleasant mealtime experience

Qualifications:

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health
• Knowledge of food safety regulations
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English
• Comfortable working around animals and pets
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards

Schedule: Full Time, PM shift, Thursday - Monday, 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Anticipated pay range

$19 - $20 USD
