Silverado Alexandria, a memory care innovator, is hiring Culinary Aides to create a warm, nourishing dining experience for residents. You will assist with food preparation, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and deliver meals, ensuring a pleasant mealtime environment.

The role requires a Food Handlers Certificate, knowledge of food safety, and comfort working with residents with Alzheimer’s. Part-time PM shifts offer competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Certificate from the County Department of Environmental Health.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
• Effective communicator in verbal and written English.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Schedule: Part Time, PM shift, Sunday - Wednesday or Thursday-Saturday

Anticipated pay range

$15 - $17 USD
