Qualifications

• Licensed CA COTA in good standing.
• NBCOT certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ongoing compliance with CA Occupational Therapy Board CE requirements.
• Excellent communication and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow treatment plans created by supervising OT.
• Deliver skilled interventions for ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, and cognitive retraining.
• Monitor patient progress and report concerns to supervising OT promptly.
• Assist in data collection for progress assessments and plan‑of‑care updates.
• Instruct patients and caregivers in home programs and safe equipment use.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and use of therapeutic equipment.
• Prepare patients and equipment for therapy sessions and document sessions per standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety policies; participate in team meetings.
