Job summary

Willow Creek Health Care Center in California is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and help residents achieve their highest functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current, active COTA license in California.
• Experience in skilled nursing/post-acute settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under supervision.
• Follow physician orders and established treatment plans.
• Document daily and weekly notes in patient records.
• Communicate resident progress with the supervising OT and team.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education.
• Instruct residents and staff in maintenance and safety techniques.
• Maintain therapy areas and report equipment issues.
