Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a full-time Cook for Flourish Collection at Oakland Charter Twp, MI. Shifts are 6am-2pm and 11am-7pm. You will prepare meals for residents and guests according to menus and recipes, maintaining quality and presentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of three years of line cook experience, plus good communication skills. Comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper seasoning, and cooking status of all foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow food rotation policies.
• Present a professional appearance with uniform and name tag.
