Westminster Canterbury Lynchburg, Inc. in Central Virginia is seeking a Cook II to join our team. This full-time position includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, and a 403(b) with match, among other benefits.

The cook will prepare and cook foods with short and broader preparation times while ensuring high resident satisfaction. The role requires at least two years of restaurant cooking experience, the ability to follow recipes precisely, and knowledge of food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years restaurant cooking experience (3–4 preferred).
• Must read orders, follow recipes and prepare foods promptly.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures; HACCP knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to lift and move food and supplies as needed.
• Serve Safe certification required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and cooks to order foods with short and moderate preparation times.
• Operates kitchen equipment to measure, mix, season and cook ingredients.
• Reads orders, follows instructions and ensures high-quality food service.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work stations and equipment.
• Keeps records and assists in inventory and production planning.
