Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is hiring immediately for a full-time Cook at UNC Kenan Flagler Business School in Chapel Hill, NC. The role requires prior food service and prep experience and offers a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour with a full-time schedule Monday through Friday.

The Cook will prepare high-quality meals, follow recipes, assist in ordering and inventory, and maintain safety and cleanliness standards in a busy campus kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous food service and prep experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Serves meals with correct portioning, temps, and appealing presentation.
• Uses ticket collection procedures during service.
• Cleans kitchen maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning and record keeping.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Attends training and safety meetings.
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers and managers.
• Follows safety standards and clean work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation and serving temperatures.
• Maintains personal and team safety.
• Follows company policies.
