Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group is seeking an immediate full-time Prep Cook for their location at Fidelity Investments in Durham, NC. The schedule will vary between 6:00 am–3:30 pm or 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, with a preference for candidates with previous line-cooking experience.

Qualifications

• Previous line-cooking experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare items on production sheets using established quantities and recipes.
• Complete daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; taste meals for quality.
• Operate and clean equipment according to procedures.
• Store, label, and date food items following policy and HACCP guidelines.
• Complete required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
• Take orders from customers and prepare items with short preparation time.
• Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
• Complete orders from steam tables and grill, serving customers at multiple stations.
• Use approved recipes and production standards for quality.
• Resolve customer concerns and perform other duties as assigned.
