Job summary

Flik Hospitality Group in Chapel Hill, NC is hiring for a full-time Food Service Worker. The role requires prior food service and food prep experience, with a Monday–Friday schedule; hours may vary.

Location is UNC Kenan Flagler Business School. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, with benefits such as free meals, uniforms, and laundering services at select locations. New hires join a team focused on food quality, safety and guest service.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience required.
• Experience with food preparation preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, presents and serves food as needed.
• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations safely.
• Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Ensures compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
