Job summary

Regency on Whidbey in Oak Harbor, WA, seeks a caring Cook to join our assisted living and memory care teams on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays with 10-hour shifts. This full-time role prepares and serves meals to residents in a nurturing environment.

• Must obtain Food Handler's card and meet health requirements.
• Read, write, speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to residents within scheduled timeframe.
• Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions made on proper form
• Clean and maintains a neat, safe working environment, including the kitchen and food service areas
• Comply with state sanitation codes
• Maintain inventory, places food orders, verifies that items are received appropriately, and restock appropriately
• Ensure that resident food preferences are known and followed.
