UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring a Patient Care Technician to perform treatments and assist the nursing team in delivering safe, compassionate patient care. You will work under supervision to ensure standards of practice, document procedures, and participate in performance improvement activities.
The role requires a High School diploma, BLS and multiple certifications (CNA, CPCT/A, NCPCT, PCT-C, EMT) with strong communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
- High School Grad or Equiv required.
- CPCT/A, NCPCT, PCT-C, EMT and BLS certifications required or preferred.
- Nursing support experience in acute care encouraged.
Responsabilités
- Perform treatments per policy to provide age-appropriate patient care.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist in delivering patient care under RN supervision.
- Document procedures and communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team.
- Assist with nursing history collection and report abnormalities to the RN.
