UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Illinois is hiring for a Patient Care Technician on the night shift, 36 hours/week with rotating weekends and holidays. You will perform basic patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, maintain a safe environment, and support in bedside care and documentation.

Required: High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ PCT or related experience, and BLS/CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certification.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of PCT or bedside care in an acute setting.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certification required.

• Performs treatments per policy and provides patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in the delivery of patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documents procedures in accordance with department policy.
