You will assist with mobility and transfers, monitor vitals, and support admissions, transfers, and activities, while maintaining a clean, infection-controlled environment and documenting care. A compassionate approach and teamwork are essential to deliver high-quality, resident-centered care.

Formación

• Current CNA or STNA certification in the state you work.
• CPR certification.
• 1 year of prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar medical setting.
• Ability to build rapport with residents through a compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care with empathy and compassion.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning and intervention implementation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care to residents under supervision, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers using safe techniques.
• Monitor vital signs, intake/output; report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; orient new residents.
• Support social and recreational activities; provide companionship.
• Maintain clean, infection-controlled living environment.
• Assist dining services; set up meals and record intake.
• Document care and observations timely per policies.
• Participate in training to maintain CNA verification and geriatric knowledge.
• Mentor new CNAs on policies and facility layout.
• Attend team meetings; contribute to care planning.
• Foster a positive, professional, team-based work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
