Job summary

BJC Behavioral Health in St. Louis is seeking a Community Outreach Case Worker to connect clients with housing and food resources, including transportation in their own vehicle. You will work in the field daily with clients and participate in community-based activities across our North, Central and South territories.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a sign-on bonus up to $1,500. A MO Class D or IL Class E license is required; experience with mental health is preferred but not

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• Valid MO Class D or IL Class E driver's license.
• Experience working with individuals facing mental health challenges preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide community support services to connect clients with housing and food resources.
• Complete timely documentation describing services and outcomes.
• Engage clients in crisis situations and promote recovery.
• Mentor and support fellow community outreach staff.
