Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and procedures.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and staff.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristbands or photo IDs.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Greet residents and escort them to rooms, maintaining a warm environment.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and report any privacy issues.
• Assist with daily activities and personal care tasks as trained.
• Observe for pressure injuries and report findings to prevent ulcers.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, and basic mobility as needed.
