Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality resident care in a full-time, on-site role. The position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and patient-focused service in a supportive environment.

The CNA must hold a valid certification, have at least 6 months of CNA or clinical experience, and demonstrate English proficiency, empathy, and reliability in daily resident care activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a CNA or clinical experience during certification.
• Desire to serve the ill, aged and infirm.
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to work tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Willingness to collaborate with other personnel.
• Good general health and emotional stability.
• Able to relate to residents with varying levels of maturity.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies and nursing care procedures.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours.
• Verify resident ID before care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands to the admission coordinator.
• Make beds and maintain bedside surfaces.
• Ensure clean water pitchers are within resident reach.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisors.
