Job summary

Campbell Street in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time day shift 6AM-6PM, including every other weekend. The role provides direct daily resident care under LPN/RN supervision.

You will document care, support residents' rights, assist with personal care and daily activities, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a facility focused on quality care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Program and current certification on the state Registry.
• Preferred: Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living community.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with direct routine care in activities of daily living under supervision.
• Support residents’ rights and maintain dignity during care.
• Document care accurately and communicate resident needs to the nursing staff.
• Assist with personal care, nutrition, and basic restorative services as part of the Plan of Care.
• Engage with residents and families to promote a resident-centered experience.
