Trove Home Care in Charlottesville, VA is seeking an experienced CNA caregiver to provide compassionate in-home care, helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and safety in their own homes.

This role offers 30–40 hours per week with a pay range of $24–$27 per hour, time-and-a-half for holidays and overtime, mileage reimbursement, and access to a responsive local team. A valid Virginia CNA certification and valid driver’s license are required.

What You'll Do

As a Trove caregiver, you’ll provide personalized in-home care that helps clients maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life .

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Helping with mobility, transfers, and safe movement
• Meal preparation and medication reminders
• Light housekeeping
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and activities
• Providing companionship and social support
• Helping clients with everyday routines and activities
• Communicating client needs and changes to the Trove team

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is reliable, compassionate, professional, and confident working independently .

You must have:

• Active Virginia CNA certification
• Flexible availability based on client needs
• A valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Current auto insurance
• The ability to safely assist clients with mobility and personal care
• The ability to work with multiple clients as needed
• Successful completion of a background check and reference screening

Weekend Availability

Depending on scheduling and business needs, caregivers may be required to work a minimum of 16 weekend hours per month .

A Note About Hours

This position is designed for caregivers seeking approximately 30–40 hours per week , but weekly hours are not guaranteed .

Available hours depend on current client needs, caregiver availability, location, driving ability, schedule flexibility, and successful client‑caregiver matching. We work to create schedules that are a good fit for both our clients and caregivers.
