Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Physician to provide episodic, preventive, and acute care to employees and dependents aged 2 and older at our Helena, MT Health Center. The role features four 9-hour days weekly, with clinic hours Mon-Fri 7A-6P.

You will conduct histories, exams, prescribe treatments, develop plans with patients, and coordinate referrals. Strong licensure and board credentials are required, with emphasis on primary care experience.

Qualifications

• All state licenses to practice.
• Federal DEA license.
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required by state.
• Current board certificate (ABMS, AMA or AOA).
• Medical Degree is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
• May provide occupational health services (post-offer physicals, surveillance, medical monitoring, return-to-work).
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications.
• Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients and educates on medical issues.
• Provides referrals internally and externally to appropriate resources.
• Evaluates effectiveness of medical care and monitors progress.
• Identifies emergencies and provides care within scope of practice.
• Participates in development of health center goals and objectives.
• Maintains medical records (EMR in some centers).
• May formulate and administer health programs.
• Provides overall responsibility for patient care in the absence of Medical Leader.
