Job summary

Premise Health in Helena, MT is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to provide primary care for client employees and their dependents at our on-site Health Center. Hours are 8:00am–6:00pm, Tuesday–Friday, offering strong work/life balance.

You’ll conduct physical exams, treat injuries, order tests, develop care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure comprehensive, continuous care.

Qualifications

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license per state of practice.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing; transcripts if degree not nursing.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains patient health records with accurate documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
