Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a reliable Cleaner for 1st shift in Macon, GA. The role involves basic custodial duties under the supervision of a Custodial Manager or Supervisor, with emphasis on floor care, dusting, bathroom upkeep, and trash removal.

You will operate light and heavy floor machines, vacuum stairs and offices, wipe surfaces, restock supplies, and report any maintenance issues. The position requires attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and the energy to perform

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no prior experience.
• Must be able to follow direction with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces.
• Operate floor buffers and shampoo machines.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces; high dusting as needed.
• Wash windowsills and interior glass; clean entrance doors.
• Restock bathrooms daily; damp wipe surfaces and dispose waste.
• Report possible defects to supervisors (clogged urinals, lights).
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated area.
• Replace liners in waste baskets as needed.
• Sweep or shovel snow from entrances and walkways.
