Job summary

Canteen in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring for a full-time CHEF to lead kitchen operations. The role requires prior cooking and chef experience and offers a schedule Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–3:00 pm, with pay ranging from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour.

• Previous cooking and chef experience required.
• Ability to supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises kitchen staff and ensures sanitation and service standards.
• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes to meet production schedules.
• Maintains proper serving temperatures and portion control.
• Manages inventory and inspects incoming supplies.
• Develops recipes and menus in collaboration with team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
